the Scopes Trial based on the conflict of evolution being taught in schools, 1925. The Dover case based again on evolution being taught in schools, present day.
I do not think it was history repeating its self because the resolution of the Scopes Trial was not something that would solve the Dover case. When it comes to teaching evolution in public schools the argument has gone from it not being allowed, to it being taught with disclaimers. I see that as evolution of a historical conflict.
Will it ever be really resolved, or is history to evolve again?

I see what you are saying, and I think you are right. History will always evolve because we will always be learning. We will learn more information and learn from our mistakes. Hopefully we will also learn from our achievements.
This situation will not be resolved soon (in my humble opinion) With so many people - according to our reading up to 2/3 of the US population - not agreeing with evolution, there are probably more trials ahead and lengthy school board meetings to try and reach common ground on a touchy issue. The solution isn't easy when you have very strong opinions on both sides and many who see things as "black & white" with no gray area for compromise.
